About LEAD GLOBAL
LEAD GLOBAL is a food and beverage consulting firm that supports food safety and quality leaders when their teams need added bandwidth or specialized technical expertise. We work alongside VPs, Senior Directors and Directors of Quality and Food Safety to keep programs audit-ready, operations compliant and product launches on track.
Founded in 2019 as Badgley Consulting Group, the firm rebranded to LEAD GLOBAL in 2025. We are based in Kennewick, Washington, and work with clients by appointment. We support food and beverage companies in the U.S., Canada, Latin America, Europe and China.
What we do
- Food Safety & Quality Support: HACCP and Food Safety Plan development, GFSI audit readiness (SQF, BRCGS, FSSC 22000), GMPs and supplier assessments.
- Interim Leadership and Management: interim VP, director, food safety and quality manager, and production leaders who keep operations running and compliant during leadership gaps, typically for 3 to 6 months.
- Product Development & Innovation: concept to launch, including bench prototyping, sensory testing, scale-up, commercialization, culinary innovation and R&D coaching.
- Process Engineering: removing bottlenecks and cutting costs across thermal and non-thermal processing, modified atmosphere packaging (MAP), lean manufacturing and new plant design.
- Labeling & Nutrition: compliant, consumer-friendly labels with accurate nutrition facts.

Meet Todd Badgley, Founder & President
Todd Badgley founded LEAD GLOBAL (formerly Badgley Consulting Group) and leads it as Founder & President. He brings more than 25 years of food industry experience across food safety, quality assurance, operations and leadership.
Before founding LEAD GLOBAL in 2019, Todd spent more than 20 years at Conagra Brands and Lamb Weston, serving in many operational management roles across multiple manufacturing facilities, plus corporate roles including five years as Global Director of Quality and Food Safety. He has led quality and food safety programs from the plant floor to the global level, so he understands what it takes to deliver quality and food safety in busy manufacturing environments.
His training and credentials include FSPCA Preventive Controls for Human Food (PCQI) and Preventive Controls for Animal Food, Advanced SQF Practitioner, HACCP and Advanced HACCP, and FARRP Effective Food Allergen Management.
Todd’s focus is practical: giving food safety and quality leaders strategic guidance and hands-on solutions that deliver measurable results.

Todd founded the firm in 2019 as Badgley Consulting Group, serving food businesses with expert guidance in food safety, labeling and operational efficiency. In 2025 we rebranded to LEAD GLOBAL to reflect our expanded services and broader reach. Our name changed; our core values did not: expertise, integrity and a dedication to client success.
